PickedPros (pickedpros.com) is operated by Maxwell Media ("we", "us", "our"). We help people request quotes from independent local home-improvement contractors. This policy explains what we collect, how it is used and shared, and the choices you have. It applies to this website and to every project request submitted through it.

What We Collect

When you submit a request, we collect:

• Your name, email address, and phone number.
• The street address and ZIP code of the property the work relates to.
• Your answers to the project questions you were asked.
• A TrustedForm consent certificate from ActiveProspect documenting your submission.
• Technical data collected automatically: IP address, browser and device information, the pages you viewed, and the referring source or advertisement that brought you here.

We do not ask for and do not want payment card numbers, bank details, Social Security numbers, or government identification numbers. Please do not send them to us.

Cookies And Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, remember your progress through a request, measure how our advertising performs, and understand which pages are used. Advertising platforms we buy traffic from may set their own identifiers. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; parts of the site may not work correctly if you do.

How Your Information Is Used And Shared

Your request is shared with Networx Systems, Inc. and its partner contractors and networks ("Networx Buyers") so they can contact you about your project by phone, text message, and email, including through automated technology where you have consented. This is the core purpose of the site and the reason your information is collected.

We also use and share information:

• With service providers who host the site, deliver messages, verify addresses, and document consent on our behalf, under contracts limiting their use of it.
• To measure and improve our advertising and the performance of our pages.
• Where required by law, to respond to lawful requests, or to protect our rights, the safety of others, or against fraud and abuse.
• To a successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

Sharing your information with Networx Buyers may constitute a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) and comparable laws in other states. We do not sell or share the personal information of anyone we know to be under 16.

Your Consent To Be Contacted

When you submit a request you give express written consent to be contacted at the phone number and email address you provided, including by automated dialling technology and prerecorded messages, even if your number is listed on a Do Not Call registry. That consent is not a condition of any purchase, and you may revoke it at any time using the opt-out page, by replying STOP to a text message, or by telling the caller directly. Revoking consent does not affect contact that was already underway.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, obtain a copy of it, correct it, request its deletion, opt out of its sale or sharing and of targeted advertising, and not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights. California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon and a growing number of other states provide some or all of these rights.

To exercise any of them, use our Do Not Sell Or Share My Information page or email privacy@pickedpros.com. We will verify your request against the information we hold before acting on it, and respond within the time your state's law allows. An authorised agent may submit a request on your behalf with proof of authority. Opting out stops future sharing; it cannot undo sharing that already occurred.

Retention

We retain records of requests, consent documentation, and related materials for at least five years to meet our contractual and legal compliance obligations. Where you ask for deletion, we may need to keep the minimum record required to evidence consent and to honour your opt-out.

Security

We use technical and organisational measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the information we hold, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

This site is intended for adults aged 18 or over and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us and we will delete it.

Other Websites

Contractors and partners who contact you operate their own websites and privacy practices, which we do not control and are not responsible for. Read their policies before dealing with them.

We may update this policy as our practices or the law change. The "Last Updated" date above reflects the current version, and material changes will be posted on this page.
